I'll start :) Hi, I'm Jinnia. I have 2 kids, a girl and a boy. I'm a “professional” mom and business developer. My blog is at http://www.jinnialow.com. I write about my personal growth journey in business and everyday life. I play music for fun, and I adore green tea flavored ice cream!

Aloha Jinnia! Thought I’d stop in and see what you’ve been up to. Great blog by the way;-). My name is Ed. I have 4 children. 3 boys and 1 girl. Once an entrepreneur, always an entrepreneur right! I enjoy helping others find solutions to their biggest business challenges. The stuff that keeps you up at night. Also, love to brainstorm and develop joint ventures with like-minded individuals that see the value in “win-win”. I’m in the process of developing a full blown generic marketing system. I’ll be revealing that in the near future. For fun…Vegas baby! Can’t help it folks. Love to take a chance on the one armed bandit. And a big scoop of frozen solid old fashioned butter pecan hits the spot with me. Awesome work Jinnia. Talk soon.

  • http://jinnialow.com Jinnia

Nice to meet you, Shari! 3 boys, wow. Knitting sounds calming, and then you play with the boys? I'm always curious about moms with all boys, do you feel outnumbered?

How wonderful you're doing what you want to! Great blog, btw! Being able to stay home with your boys is such a gift. I'm looking forward to getting to know you.

  • Lisa

Hello Jinnia! I'm a new follower. My name is Lisa and I'm also a blogger (http://my2centsfl.blogspot.com). I have 3 kids, ages 14 years, 8 years and 5 months – and they are all girls! For fun I like to shop for bargains and get free stuff using coupons and sales (which is what my blog is mostly about). I love ice cream more than I should, but don't eat it often because if I have it I eat it all! I especially love Hagan Daaz Pistachio! Coffee is my big morning motivator, but the baby crying also makes me drag myself out of bed – LOL! If money weren't an issue…hmm…I'd take a lot of cruises all over the world, that way people would always be happy since they are on vacation, and I'd get to see the world, but best of all there'd be someone else to COOK and CLEAN UP! Yippie!

My favorite ice cream is COOKIES N CREAM!!!
Alie motivates me to wake up in the morning. If not that she demands me or asks for cute things like “can-cakes” (pancakes)
If money weren't an issue I would spend my days at the beach laying in a beach chair reading, watching Alie play in the sand and listing to my husband snore next to me in his beach chair!

    :)

  • Eastlyn

Hi, Jinnia. You know some of the above info about me, but I will share it of others to see. I'm trying to boost my odds to win your giveaway *smile*
My name is Eastlyn (no familial significance to the name; my mom found it in a baby name book and liked it). I have two children, a 12-yr-old daughter and a 14-yr-old son. I can't believe their so big already! I just graduated nursing school and am currently looking for a job. My blog is “Wilborn-White News” at http://eastlynandcompany.blogspot.com. I write about whatever comes to mind: mostly motherhood/family stuff, recipes, being broke (but that's about to change). For fun I enjoy visiting the blogosphere and “meeting” new people. Aside from that I dabble with cake decorating, love to bake & cook. I enjoy scrapbooking, but that was put on hold while in school, and I haven't quite gotten back into it. Would love to travel more. My all time favorite ice cream is Blue Bell's Moolinneum Crunch. It's very much so a southern thing, so some may not be familiar with it. Runner up would have to be pralines and cream. Several brands have this flavor, and I'm not picky about which ones I eat! Taking care of my family motivates me to get up in the morning. It's just what I do. If money were not an issue, I'd open my home to foster kids and maybe even adopt a couple and be a SAHM to them so they know someone in this world loves them and values them.

  • http://jinnialow.com Jinnia

Eastlyn! Yes, I know you :) It's great to have you here. You do have a unique name, it's catchy. How nice you have one of each, so do I. We have many of the same interests! I used to bake and scrapbook but put it on hold. I've not heard of Blue Bell's Moolinneum Crunch, sounds like something I'd love to try just because it's a southern thing :) Congrats for graduating nursing school! I love your motivation for getting up in the morning, and your desire to open your home to foster kids is absolutely beautiful and inspiring!

  • Catheryn @ Pink Bibs

    Hello there Jinnia!

You have a wonderful blog. =D

I am Catheryn. We have a 15 months old Isabelle.

Quit my job when I was 7 months pregnant. Have been a stay at home mom since then and not a single regret. My full time job now is a busy mommy, cook, housekeeper and most of all, i am a full time facebook-er and blogger! :)

My blog is http://www.pinkbibs.blogspot.com. I have just started blogging in June 2010 as I thought it would be a great way to document my journey of being a mommy and also the wonderful milestones of my growing girl. And definitely, to meet more beautiful mommies and parents out there, just like you.

Knowing I am blessed to have another fun day with my girl is what motivates me to rise in the morning. I love to cook and waking up with all the great ideas of what I am going to serve my baby & family is thrilling!

As for fun, I love reading blogs, particularly family related blogs. And for some extra fun, I love doing my DIY facials at home on weeks that I don't get it done at salon. Talking about vain… ;)

I could go on and on but that's a short introduction about myself.

Again, nice to know you and I look forward to know more of you & your family too! God bless.

  • Toia

Hello!! I'm Toia. I am married to my childhood sweetheart, Larry. We have three children, 2 boys and a girl. Boys are 11 and 15, little princess is 7. I am a part time preschool teacher. My blog is called Designer's Original (an inspirational blog). http://www.designers-original.blogspot.com

I like to spend time with my family, maybe go to the movies or something. My favorite ice cream is anything with caramel and a little bit of fudge. If money was not an issue, I would do things I love from crafting, blogging, everything else I would have to play it by air.

I really enjoy my visit. Thanks for having me.

  • http://jinnialow.com Jinnia

Hey Kristen! Happy 1st Anniversary to you and your husband!! That's a special one. Well I'm looking forward to getting to know you through your blog! Chubby Hubby – I've not tried it, sounds like a cute ice cream name!

Hello Toia! What a pretty name, how do you pronounce it? I love unique names like the one you have. It's sweet that you're married to your childhood sweetheart! 3 children…they sound *almost* all grown up :) I'm glad to have you here! Your talents and hobbies sound wonderful!! I love the title of your blog!

  • rachelcotterill

    1. What’s your name? Do you have any kids?
My name's Rachel. I have a fabulous husband and no kids.

    2. What’s your profession?
I'm a PhD student in computational linguistics (which takes up a lot of time), I write travel articles as often as I can sell them, and I'm working on my second novel.

    3. Do you have a blog?
I blog at http://blog.rachelcotterill.com – covering pretty much everything in my life including recipes, travel, photography, writing, everyday life…

    4. What do you do for fun? What’s your favorite ice cream flavor?
In general, what I enjoy most is to try something I haven't done before. But within that I do a lot of crafts, and I love the water, so learning boating & watersports is high up my list.

    5. What motivates you to get up in the morning? If money were not an issue, what would you most like to do with your time?
I'm motivated by making things and contributing to society. If money was absolutely no object, I'm sure I'd change my mind every few weeks, but given some level of realistic need to keep food on the table, my dream career is to make a liveable wage from my novels and travel writing.

  • http://jinnialow.com Jinnia

Rachel, welcome! I'm glad you're here. Great getting to know you more through these intro questions, you are an accomplished woman! That's neat you enjoy doing something you haven't done before, making things and contributing to society. Admirable pursuits along with your PhD!

I love your outlook and desire to bless your baby and family! Facials are fun, and good way to take care of yourself :) Looking forward to getting to know you more too!

  • Mamaondago

Hello. I'm going to start off by saying that my husband has the family on a witness protection program.

    1.) MamaOnDaGo. Yes, I have 2 kids.
2.) part of the witness protection program. If I tell you, I'd have to hurt you stuff.
    3.) yes, I have a blog. http://mamaondago.blogspot.com/
I write about my life and everything in-between
4.) Is there time for fun? I do enjoy a good butter pecan or rocky road ice cream.
5.) The kids actually force me to get up every morning. If money wasn't an issue, I'd spend more time with the family. I'd probably continue what I do now, as far as my profession, but less hours doing it.

Congrats on being the first featured blogger on Mama's Little Nestwork!

  • jennifer horn

My name is Jennifer, I'm married with 3 girls, ages 2, 14 and 17. I stay at home with my youngest daughter and keep a friends child as well. I used to own a daycare center. I stay busy by watching my girls play basketball and softball and traveling some with my husband. I love my family and doing things with them.
I am not a morning person at all! If money weren't an issue I would love to be able to travel more and not have to worry about getting the bills paid.

  • http://jinnialow.com Jinnia

Hello, welcome! Your #2 sounds serious :) Thanks for stopping by and introducing yourself!

Hi Jinnia..I just love reading what you have to say that I can't stop reading lol. Well I'm here from Mama's Little Nestwork and you are awesome and I'm now following you to read more. Okay off to answer the questions :-)
My name is Tyesha and I have two beautiful children a boy and a girl.
Right now I'm a recent SAHM due to our upcoming move from Hawaii to San Antonio (military) but my profession is HR Management. I'm also a grad student and more than half way done with my MBA and a newfound fashion/beauty blogger and I have been blogging for about a few months now. I'm so loving it. In fact, I think I'm addicted (my husband thinks so too ;-) . My blog allows me to share ways and ideas on how to be a chic and trendy mom on a budget regardless of your shape, size or style. PITCH: “Enjoy beauty, makeup and shopping tips that won’t break the bank that will allow you to be a Chic or Trendy Fashionista”.
    Blog: http://www.diaryofachicmommy.com
For fun I shop, shop, shop (lol), spend time with my friends and family, of course blog and read what other bloggers write about. My favorite ice cream flavor is Cookie Dough, and Pistachio Almond.
I'm just thankful to be living to see another day so that's motivating enough to get me out of bed. So people aren't fortunate enough to even wake up. If money weren't an issue I would go on non-stop shopping sprees around the world (wouldn't that be awesome).
Thanks for this. I enjoyed and may have to try to add something like this on my blog as well. I'm loving these questions…they were super fun to answer :-)
    Enjoy Your Week

    Hi Jinnia,

This looks fun! :D Here goes…

My favorite flavor of ice cream is, without a doubt, chocolate.
My motivation to get up in the morning comes from the hope and love of God — a hope that I can give to others; how can I share Christ with the world today? That motivates me! If money were not an issue, I would like to write multiple books… and actually get them published! ;)

I look forward to reading more of your blog! Have a blessed weekend!
