It’s so important to know who we are, isn’t it?
I went to a company sponsored seminar this past Saturday, and it was simply inspiring.
This time I picked up something new. It’s just like reading Scriptures.
It wasn’t new as in never heard of – it was new in my experience of it.
You see..I’m a student of people. I learn how people think, are motivated, inspired. I learn who people are made to be, what they aspire in life, what gives them hope.
Ever since I was a little girl, I wondered if people knew who they were and if that would give them meaning and purpose in life.
I’ve since discovered a few secrets to finding that meaning and purpose.
I was amazed to hear the CEO and founder of our company say, “You need to find out who you are, and give yourself away…because the world needs you to be you.”
It resonates clearly with who I am, and what I do in my life and business.
Just like I battle with hindrances to being who I am, scores of people in the world are doing the same.
I passionately write and express myself to give people a glimpse of someone who, when showing my weakness, allows the strength of God to shine through. And what awesome things He does through it all!
Thing is…it takes courage to be who I am. And give myself away.
Sometimes I have it, sometimes I work for it, sometimes I let my God make me soar like an eagle.
In the end, all that matters in this life is that I’ve made a difference for eternity.
I’m yearning for the best of what life can give you, and the best of life you can give to the world.
