It’s An Amazing Community

The blogging community is just incredible.  In the last month, I’ve met women with such amazing hearts, talents, and desire to live for others.  I have much to learn in life and I consider myself still young even though sometimes I say I’m getting old.  It’s all a state of mind.  I know 80 year olds who are robust and full of life.  I want to be full of life no matter what age.

I’m so happy and honored to accept an award from a truly inspiring blogging friend!  This gal is full of vigor, enthusiasm, and beauty.  It totally shows when you view pictures of her daughter on her blog.  Her daughter wears a beaming smile that speaks, “I know my Mommy loves me and I feel secure in her love.”  It’s simply beautiful and Mama Hen inspires me so much!  I’m beyond amazed that everyday she posts insightful snapshots into her daily life.  There’s a meaningful lesson behind her posts when you reflect on them; yet they are as simple as what she’s doing with her daughter.  It’s in the way she treats her, with love and honor.  Oh, my words cannot fully describe it – you gotta go visit her and see for yourself!

She bestowed the Blog With Substance Award on me!  I truly am beyond honored that she takes the time to comment on my blog and be my bloggy pal!  Thank you so much again, Mama Hen!
