You Just Know It’s Possible.
Hey there, fellow Nestworker! Welcome to my site! I’m Jinnia, mom of two shy, sweet little ones – and I’m excited and honored to be the first featured phenomenal blogger for Mama’s Little Nestwork! I’m blessed to have an awesome loving husband and amazing friends who believe in me. They help me through the times when I’m not so sure what I’m doing, or how it’s helping others…
Everything is possible for him who believes. ~Mark 9:23
“A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words.” ~Author Unknown
This is how I’ve come to know Mama Hen. I don’t know how she does it, but she knows a special song in my heart and sings it back to me through inspiring words, love and support. Has she done that for you? When she started Mama’s Little Nestwork, I just knew this would be an excellent platform to build an encouraging, thriving community – something I’ve always wanted to do and be a part of!
If you’ve been in touch with her, you already know Mama Hen is genuinely encouraging and edifying! When she believes in you, you just know it! And you can’t help but spread the joy of it! If you’re not sure what Mama’s Little Nestwork is, just click on the button above this text. It’ll take you to an amazingly warm community!!!
I started blogging as a way to document my journey in personal growth and relationship building. You see, I used to be afraid of children when I was younger. If you ask any of my old college roommates or my sister, you’ll find out I’m not the most likely candidate to be a stay-at-home mom. Top that off with my lack of domestic skills (I never cooked or washed a load of laundry until college), and you’ve got one often-frustrated mom doing her very best to be a good mom. And trying to find herself in the midst of it all! Through the years, I’ve struggled and grown so much – and now I wouldn’t trade being a stay-at-home mom for the world! If you want to know more, here’s a little bit more about me…
I also went in search of a way to contribute to the family finances. Unexpectedly finding a surreal company with a mission statement that resonates with my deepest heart of hearts, I embarked on a journey to work from home. I was learning valuable business skills and strategies, and I was making money. But I wasn’t happy about the time I was spending away from my family. There must be a better way to do this, I thought. So off I went to find it. In the process, I found out just how many moms were struggling out there – both stay-at-home and work-at-home moms. I wanted so much to be a support and encouragement to these moms, and that’s how Work At Home Wednesday was born. I pray and work to make it the most caring, responsive group it can be – in the same spirit as Mama’s Little Nestwork!
When was the last time someone believed in you? How did it make you feel?
When Mama Hen wanted to feature me as her first Phenomenal Blogger, I was honestly surprised and of course, thrilled! Also a little intimidated. You know what I mean? The negative tapes started playing in the back of my mind: “There are so many other bloggers who are more interesting, engaging, talented, helpful, etc. I wonder why she chose me?” And I had to remember: “Stop comparing yourself to others. You don’t know what they’ve been through to get to where they’re at. EVERYBODY has a valuable story to tell.”
And when you know someone else is also rooting for you, it’s incredibly uplifting! The negative thoughts slid off one by one. When someone sees a great quality in you that you don’t see in yourself, it’s truly a rare gift to be opened and used – even though you may feel uncomfortable using it. And believe me, this was not an easy post for me to put together…
So here I am. What do I say? I’ve not written a feature post before and have no clue where to start. Would you give me a moment? Here’s my daughter Sweetie, she’ll entertain you for a few minutes…
“Oh, hi. I’m Sweetie. Mommy and Daddy set up this patio just for me (and my brother). Wanna play pretend with me? Do you like our patio Cafe? We have window seats all over the patio! Mommy says we have nice views over the ocean. Here, sit here.
You can just relax, have some coffee or brownies.
If you wanna eat something else, here’s a menu. Mommy will be back.
APPETIZER: About page. Mommy says she’s shy when it comes to talking about herself. When you read a little bit more about me, you’ll see why…
ENTREE: Articles page. I think that’s where you can choose a main course for your meal, if you’re hungry.
BEVERAGE: *Refreshing* videos of what we like to do for fun. Like Mommy playing guitar. Here’s a song we all love called Surely Goodness And Mercy. Can you tell when my Mommy really believes the words in this song?
OK. Mommy’s back to give you the wine menu.”
Did Sweetie take good care of you? Oh, good! She’s such a great helper to me! What did she tell you about really believing the words I was singing? Oh, ok. I’ll be honest and say I started off not really sure, then at some point during the song, my heart and mind clicked off the negative tapes and onto the true positive message I needed from my God. See if you can tell when this “click” happened. Leave me a comment with the minute and second of it. I’m curious to see who sees it. Oh, and here’s the wine menu…
WINE MENU: If you’re running (or looking to run) an at-home business, or know somebody who does, drop by for Work At Home Wednesday! Taste the sweet wine of support and skill development in the spirit of a growing, thriving community. All are welcome!

Thank you so much for stopping by our “Cafe”! Enjoy your meal!
*Disclaimer – My husband and I are not really in the restaurant business because we couldn’t agree on how to properly make Won Ton noodles. We hope you enjoy your meal anyway! We’d love for you to introduce yourself right here so others can come visit your site. To keep up with us, follow our site via email, Google Friend, or Networked Blogs. Just leave us a comment, and we’ll be sure to swing by and visit you!
