My family and I just came back from our mini-vacation in beautiful San Luis Obispo.  And we had a super-fun few days together!!

Stayed at a charming cottage hotel overlooking the ocean.

Took a break from cooking and cleaning…

Took our kids to the beach where my hubby told me he liked me 11 years ago.

Ate with good friends, visited with new friends, gave a relationship talk…

Played “golf”, ping pong, and badminton.

And many other fun things!

It was the most awesome Valentine’s day a gal could ever ask for :)

On our ride home, we were talking.  And I re-discovered that…

My husband knows me better than I think.

As he was driving, we talked about my blog.  He’d given me a suggestion for the tagline a few months ago:

“Finding Meaning As A Stay At Home Mom”

I’d thought about it – but didn’t fully accept it as the one I wanted for my blog.

Little did I know after a few months of trying to develop one on my own…and even with the help of other friends…

I came back to the one my husband suggested months ago, tweaking one word.

Why?  My hubby says this sounds more catchy, and I agree.  Not only that…

I found a special meaning in having fun family trips just like this one.  (We don’t do it often.)

I love designing expressive outlets to find meaning & purpose in life.

I love the passion that people have in what they believe and care deeply about.

I love the perseverance and fight for the freedom to do what they care about.

I love the feelings and emotions that people express when they’re in touch with who they are.

That is the freedom and foundation of my blog.  Thank you God for helping me listen to my husband.

How about you?  Does your spouse know you better than you think?  ;-)
