I am taking on a Psychology Experiment from one of my friends.
For the next 3 weeks, pick 1 person to give 5 compliments per day to. Write down your observations.
Yesterday was Day 1.
In the morning I told my husband, “You look nice today!” He said, “That’s because I don’t have to wear a Daddy’s Jacket.” (inside joke)
In the afternoon, I called him at work because one of our orange platy fish was at the bottom of the tank. She looked like she was not gonna make it. So I asked Hubby if I should take her out. We weren’t sure yet, so we were gonna wait on it. I said, “You’re a patient man.”
At night, I told him, “I was looking out at the patio and realized how little I go outside. And you did such a good job of making it look pretty with the plants and glass decorations. We should go out there more.”
I didn’t meet the quota of 5 compliments, but that’s okay. It’s a goal to shoot for, but if I miss it, I’ll go for it again the next day
In the past, Hubby had a hard time receiving compliments. By the end of that day, he was cheerful and smiling more
